Unlike most writers, Kirsten Lynn, cannot claim she started writing stories at a young age always dreaming of being a romance author. While her imagination has always been vivid and stories played in her mind like movies, she took the words of an early history teacher to heart that “true romantics make the greatest historians” and turned her sights to becoming a historian. She met this goal and with a BA in History and a MA in Naval Warfare she works in Washington, DC for a non-profit supporting the Navy’s official history command.
Inspired two years ago, by a friend's writing journey, Kirsten decided to write her own manuscript. But what to write? Well you can take the girl out of the West, but you can’t take the West out of the girl. She relied on the stories and legends learned growing up in Wyoming and living in Montana and found her own romance writing historical Westerns. She now believes historians make the greatest romantics.
Kirsten loves writing stories honoring the strong, brave, independent individuals who left civilization to live and love in the Wild West!
